By using MyPlate and myplate.world (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, do not use the Services. We may modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted means you accept them.

Not medical advice

MyPlate and the calculators on this site provide general nutrition and calorie information for educational purposes only. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified professional. Calorie and macro estimates are approximations. Consult a professional before starting any diet or weight-loss program, and never eat below 1,200 (women) / 1,500 (men) calories per day without medical supervision. You use the Services at your own risk.

License & eligibility

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be 16 or older (or have guardian consent) and not barred from receiving the Services under applicable law. You agree not to modify, decompile, or extract source code from the Services, or misuse them.

Intellectual property

We and our licensors retain all rights in the Services, including software, content, and trademarks. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you. "MyPlate" as used by this app is a K-UBE product name; the USDA MyPlate nutrition program is separate and unaffiliated.

Subscriptions & payments

MyPlate is free to download with an optional subscription for advanced features. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are billed by that platform under its terms and auto-renew until cancelled; manage or cancel in your device's account settings. Except where required by law, paid fees are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute terms) will survive.

Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT NUTRITION ESTIMATES ARE ACCURATE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, K-UBE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR HEALTH OUTCOMES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR, IF NONE, TO YOUR CEASING TO USE THE SERVICES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON'T ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

General

These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Services. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may assign these Terms; you may not without our consent. Notices may be given via the Services or email.
